Respirator evaluations across projects, sites and subcontractors

Large workforces, multiple worksites, and crews that change between phases. Tell us how your program is structured and we will build the process around it.

What this usually looks like

Enterprise and construction programs rarely fit a self-service form. You may be clearing your own employees at several sites, coordinating with subcontractors who employ their own crews, or ramping a project team quickly before a phase starts. Those are coordination problems as much as clinical ones, so we start with a conversation rather than a checkout.

What QuickCare brings

Multiple sites and shifting crews

Evaluations are completed online, so a crew spread across sites — or already on the road — does not have to be gathered anywhere first.

Subcontractor coordination

We work with you on how subcontractor employees are handled and what you can and cannot be told about them. An employee's medical information never becomes yours because you paid for the evaluation.

Volume pricing

Published volume pricing applies from the first order. Larger and ongoing programs are quoted directly.

Renewal tracking

Your program interval — commonly 12 months — is tracked per evaluation, so annual re-evaluation does not depend on someone remembering.

How an evaluation actually works

Four steps, and a licensed clinician makes the decision in every single one.

  1. 1

    The questionnaire

The employee completes the OSHA questionnaire on their own device, at any hour, usually in one sitting. No appointment is needed for this step.

  2. 2

    Automated screening

The moment it is submitted, the answers are screened automatically. Screening can flag a response for closer review — it never decides that someone is not cleared.

  3. 3

    Clinical review

A licensed healthcare professional reviews the submission. Some are decided on the questionnaire alone; others need follow-up information before a decision can be made.

  4. 4

    The result is released

When the clinician releases it, the employer sees the outcome and any work restrictions that apply — and nothing else.

We don't publish a turnaround time, because we don't measure one and we won't promise a number we can't stand behind. What we can tell you is that no result reaches an employer until a person has released it.

Employers never see health information

Not the questionnaire, not the answers, not the clinical reasoning. You see the status of the evaluation and what to do next.

What an employer can and cannot see about an employee's respirator medical evaluation
What you see as an employer What stays between the employee and the clinician
Whether they're cleared, cleared with restrictions, or not cleared for the requested respirator use Every questionnaire answer
Where they are in the process, and whether they need to do something Any medical condition, symptom or medication
Any work restrictions that apply Why a restriction was applied
When the next evaluation is due The clinician's notes and reasoning

The statuses you'll actually see

There is no single cleared/not-cleared switch. A result only becomes a decision once a clinician releases it; until then you see progress, so you always know whether the ball is in your court, the employee's, or ours.

Decided — released by a clinician

  • Cleared
  • Cleared with restrictions
  • Not cleared for the requested respirator use

In progress

  • Not started
  • Invitation sent
  • Invitation expired — resend
  • In progress
  • Additional employee action required
  • Clinical review pending
  • Follow-up required

Needs attention

  • Result being finalized
  • Result withdrawn
  • Ordering requires attention
  • Evaluation cancelled

A released result can be withdrawn, and a re-issued one supersedes the old version rather than overwriting it — so your records show what was true at the time, not just what is true now.

What we will not pretend

  • There is no self-service portal today for assigning evaluations across subcontractor companies. We coordinate that with you directly.
  • A general contractor does not automatically get access to a subcontractor employee's records. What you can see is agreed explicitly and is limited to operational readiness.
  • ProTrain covers the medical evaluation. Fit testing, pulmonary function testing and on-site physicals are separate services, in person, currently in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Pricing

Your rate is set by the size of the order — the same flat price applies to every evaluation on it.
