OSHA requires additional medical evaluations when: (1) an employee reports medical signs or symptoms related to respirator use; (2) a PLHCP, supervisor, or program administrator recommends reevaluation; (3) information from the respiratory program suggests a need for reevaluation; or (4) changes in workplace conditions increase physiological burden. Most companies choose to recertify employees annually, which is easily managed through ProTrain's expiration tracking system.

One credit is consumed each time you invite an employee to complete a respirator questionnaire. If an employee needs to renew their clearance (typically annually), that will require an additional credit. Credits never expire, allowing you to purchase in bulk for additional savings and use them whenever needed. You can track your credit usage in your administrative dashboard.
