  • What is the difference between Immediate and Lab Drug Testing?

Immediate Drug Testing provides quick results, often within minutes. It is performed on-site using test kits that detect the presence of specific drugs in a donor's specimen, usually urine or saliva. These tests are also known as rapid or point-of-care tests.

Lab Drug Testing involves sending a donor's specimen to a certified laboratory for analysis. This method is more thorough and is considered the gold standard due to its high level of accuracy. Results are typically available within a few days.

  • How can the First-Aid Response Program benefit my business?

Our First-Aid Response Program is designed to provide immediate, on-site medical care for your employees in the event of an injury. Here are the key benefits:

    1. Prevents OSHA Recordable Injuries: Our trained technicians treat the employee on-site before they are seen by a medical doctor. This early intervention often prevents the injury from escalating into an OSHA recordable incident.
    2. Cost Savings: By managing injuries within the First-Aid guidelines, we help you avoid the significant costs associated with OSHA recordable injuries and workers' compensation claims.
    3. Employee Well-being: Quick and professional on-site response ensures your employees receive the best care possible, promoting faster recovery and minimizing downtime.
    4. Compliance and Peace of Mind: Our program ensures that your company is in compliance with OSHA's First-Aid requirements, giving you peace of mind knowing you are providing a safe work environment.
  • How does QuickCare Solutions try to maintain an injury within First-Aid?

Our approach is proactive and comprehensive. When an injury occurs:

    1. Immediate Assessment: Our technician quickly assesses the injury on-site.
    2. Administer First-Aid: Based on the assessment, appropriate First-Aid treatment is administered. This can include cleaning and dressing wounds, applying cold packs, or stabilizing sprains and strains.
    3. Monitor and Follow-Up: We continue to monitor the employee’s condition and provide additional care as needed.
    4. Consultation and Referral: If an injury appears to be more severe, we consult with a medical professional and refer the employee for further care, but only as a last resort after exhausting all First-Aid options.

Our goal is to resolve the situation effectively within the First-Aid stage, avoiding the need for more extensive medical treatment and thus reducing the likelihood of an OSHA recordable injury.
